About Us

 

Vishal Malleables Ltd., (VML) is a widely held public limited company engaged in the business of manufacturing and marketing of Malleable Castings, Spheroidal Graphite Cast Iron, Pipe Fittings, Steel and Alloys Castings, Porcelain and Metal Parts Insulators. The company has installed 2MW wind power generation turbine which is not only good tax shelter, it provides good hedge against power cost.

VML incorporated on 11th November, 1974 vide registration no. 2619/1974.75, Registrar of companies, Gujarat, styled as Vishal Malleables Pvt. Ltd., was promoted by Shri. R. D. Patel and Shri. R. P. Shah. The company was converted into public limited company on 14th September, 1977.

The Management of the company was changed in the year 1992 with the induction of Shri O.P.Khetan & Family in place of Shri R.D.Patel. Shri R.D. Patel Continues to be a Professional Director.

The company has 3 units in Ankleshwar and has installed 2 MW wind turbine power generation. The Unit No.1 is involved in the ferrous casting, unit No. 2 in non-ferrous castings and unit no.3, in insulators. The wind turbines are installed at village Dhank, Taluka Upleta, Dist. Rajkot. The power generated through wind turbine provides natural hedge against power cost and also offers tax shelter.

The company operates under sand castings system where majority of the functions
